I am excited to present at Stanford Neurodiversity Summit 2024, “Create a neurodivergent-friendly environment to empower neurodiverse people to fulfill their potential.”
I am excited to contribute to the Stanford neurodiversity summit.
As a person who grew up struggling with learning and life, it wasn’t until I was diagnosed with ADHD in my thirties that it all made sense. Although there are issues with being neurodivergent, there are also many strengths that are often overlooked due to the deficit model of treatment. I have discovered that I am not alone, and there are a lot of other people who are on the spectrum.
I recently shared my neuro divergence to normalize all neurotypes in my classes. The sooner a person understands their neurotype, the sooner they can adopt better strategies to help them achieve their potential. We are all different, and what makes you different can make you stronger. Knowledge and self-awareness are power!
