Grow Contributor 2024 and 2025

Teachers are pivotal in empowering neurodivergent individuals to reach their full potential by cultivating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Through raising awareness, implementing effective systems, and harnessing digital tools, educators can create transformative learning experiences that benefit both neurotypical and neurodiverse learners. Neurodiversity acknowledges that people's brains function differently, reframing these differences as unique strengths rather than deficiencies. Common conditions such as autism, dyslexia, and ADHD encompass approximately 20 percent of the population. As educators, it's essential to address the needs of this often-overlooked group, guiding them toward success rather than dismissing them as burdens to society.

These questions will be addressed:

• WHO am I?

• WHAT is neurodiversity?

• WHY should we care about neurodiversity?

• HOW will we empower neurodiverse people?
